Steam Game Manifest Management
Centrally maintained manifests, sorted by added time, with one-click Steam library import
Overview
LuckyGameTools manifests are centrally added, updated, and maintained by the author inside the client. Users do not need to maintain manifest files manually. The client displays supported games as a flat list sorted by added time descending. When users click one-click import, the software downloads the manifest files hosted on GitHub and imports them into the local Steam library; no Steam restart is required, and the game appears in the Steam library for normal use.
Use Cases
Steam library organization
Useful when users want to find a supported game in the client and import it without manually searching for or maintaining manifest files.
Maintainer-managed updates
Manifests are added, updated, and maintained by the author in the client, so users only need a refreshed client list.
Newest games first
The client lays out supported games by added time descending, making newly supported games easier to find.
What It Helps With
- Reduces the need to manually search for, drag in, or maintain manifest versions.
- Shows supported games in the client by added time descending, so recent additions are easier to spot.
- Downloads the GitHub-hosted manifest files after one-click import and shows the game directly in the Steam library.
Recommended Workflow
Notes
- Manifests are centrally added, updated, and maintained by the author; users do not need to maintain manifest files manually.
- One-click import requires the client to be online so it can download the GitHub-hosted manifest files.
- If the game does not appear after import, first check whether the download succeeded, whether the game is supported in the client, and whether Steam is logged in normally.
